I love a Strawberry Smoothie in the morning! The protein keeps you full, the berries add sweetness without too much sugar, and the milk makes it creamy.I use frozen strawberries because they are convenient and make it icy like a milkshake, but you can use fresh strawberries (just add some ice to make chilly). For even more flavor, add a tablespoon or 2 of your favorite peanut butter for a Peanut Butter and Jelly Smoothie.
I also like to blend in whole flax seeds (a tablespoon or two) for a thicker texture and more fiber.Stash whole flax seeds in the freezer so they stay fresh indefinitely.Chia seeds work too, but I find they blend best when you soak them for 10 minutes or so ahead of time.
