This is a meal that was born out of (mostly) sad and forgotten veggies at the back of the fridge.Otherwise, I don’t think I would have imagined pairing fennel with spaghetti.Let alone parsnip! But you know what? It works.

It actually works beautifully well! I love all good books that help me better understand how our minds work and the troubles they get us into.Stumbling On Happiness is a quick, easy and FUN read that basically marinates you in the biases, errors and mistakes of the human mind, to such an extent that you gotta wonder how anyone manages to make toast without burning their kneecaps.Inevitably, you’d be tempted to think that your newfound awareness of these errors and biases will righteously and promptly put you on the path to redemption (aka you will stop making said errors and biases), but you’d be profoundly and awkwardly wrong in your assumption.
